Opel Design Hack Challenge
In October 2022, Opel introduced the ‘Opel Design Hack‘ challenge, tasking participants with reimagining the Opel Rock-E in their unique style, with the winning design to be brought to life. I eagerly took part and was pleasantly surprised by the level of public interest my project generated.
For this challenge, I envisioned the Opel as a vehicle within my universe on Yurgo Island, where DIY enthusiasts have left their mark. Someone took pleasure in adding a range of accessories to make it look more aggressive and faster, like a little powerhouse in a vast world.
During the voting for the best modification of the Opel, I was deeply honored to find that my model was among the most cherished, making it to the Top 10. However, it didn’t make it all the way, as the contest was ultimately won by Lukas Wenzhöfer with a stunning off-road version.
I really enjoyed being part of this brief challenge. The timeline was tight, and it was quite entertaining to create something truly unique !
But the story doesn’t end here; in fact, I’ve received an intriguing proposal related to this project. To be continued !
