Endless Engine Challenge
Presenting my entry for the 2023 Top 100 Render Challenge hosted by Clinton Jones, centered around the themed challenge ‘Endless Engines’
My intention was to design a distinctive vehicle that embodies both futuristic and neo-retro elements. I envisioned this scenario unfolding at a futuristic Arctic weather station in the near future. This vehicle has been meticulously crafted and assembled, incorporating a multitude of components aimed at enhancing the driver’s survivability. It includes advanced air purification systems and an array of sensors for comprehensive environmental analysis.
This project has been instrumental in honing my organizational skills and, more importantly, in finding the right inspiration. I wanted to try something different, something that had never been seen on a vehicle before, and that’s where the concept of animated headlights emerged. I believe that a vehicle’s headlights define its expression, be it joy or anger. So, creating animated headlights can accentuate this expressive relationship.
What I take away from this project is the desire to participate more in these kinds of challenges, ones that are often surprising and push the boundaries of the three-dimensional world !
