In the cold and rocky desert of Yurgo, discarded objects are scattered throughout the landscape, polluting the environment. Despite gradual corrosion, some individuals are determined to remove or steal these heaps of scrap. However, access to these areas is strictly limited to the public due to the rocky desert’s location in the Dead Zone, a closely monitored area by the organization ESPERANCE. The Dead Zone serves as a haunting reminder of the environmental devastation and collapse resulting from an accident that occurred a few years earlier.

One of the most famous individuals who disregard the risks of entering the Dead Zone is Albert McPecno, a mad inventor with a talent for reimagining electronic devices by combining their functionalities. He is known for heavily decorating his customized vehicle, which he uses to venture into the Dead Zone. He takes pleasure in shooting down ESPERANCE drones as if they were ordinary prey.
Albert’s most remarkable creations are showcased during rare outings, primarily using his unique vehicle. He scavenges the necessary resources from abandoned carcasses and drones in the Dead Zone to technologically upgrade his vehicle, filling it with various sensors to detect approaching drones or foreign devices. This allows him to prepare for defense if necessary.
Albert maintains a considerable distance from the local population, preferring to work independently on his projects to avoid drawing unnecessary attention. He equips his vehicle with an array of sensors to detect potential threats or unusual circumstances in his vicinity. In case of an unfortunate encounter, he is armed with firearms and benefits from the protective capabilities of the bull bar on his vehicle, which helps mitigate damage in collisions with aggressive parties.

In the distance, one can spot electrical poles, remnants of the main road that traverses the inhospitable Dead Zone. This road is the only one still maintained and primarily dedicated to the transportation of goods. Finding oneself in this area by chance is exceedingly rare due to the unique access route and strict surveillance in place by ESPERANCE.
Further in the distance, you can discern the majestic Yurgo Mountain Range, with one of the Yurgo.W weather stations perched atop one of the peaks. From this elevated position, it offers a breathtaking view of the vast rocky desert of the Dead Zone. However, for some, this sight serves as a poignant reminder of the environmental devastation resulting from the accident that occurred a few years earlier. The Dead Zone is far from a vacation destination, and its harsh reality contrasts with the beauty of the landscape.
